“I wanted to focus on three topics as I was creating the photos: the nature, the people around us, and the place in which we live. I wanted to capture moments that would either tell a certain story or freeze a moment of effervescent beauty around us. The world around us carries around fleeting moments of beauty, and I wanted my works to capture those beautiful instances”

“I live in Chinatown. My entry is about me blending into the world around me. From a homeless man (who becomes invisible to most) to a ghostly image to my own tribute to Liu Bolin, it’s about becoming part of the environment.”

His blog is a showcase of finished work as well as his daily doodles, which should clue you in to his talent. This drawing assignment is particularly arresting and is definitely worth a look.
